The Qur'an makes it clear that Muhammad did encourage the killing of innocents, and it is incorrect that such a thing is not allowed in Islam. One such examples is Qur'an 9:5, which permits the killing of polytheists once the sacred months have passed. Not to mention Muhammad's invasions and wars are also a clear answer and confirm that he did encourage the killing of innocents just because they were not Muslims, and refused to be.
