God is not the author of confusion. May I ask, where is it in the new covenant that anyone should observe any holy day? Sabbath observance was strictly for the Hebrew of the Old Testament that was observed, kept, Mosaic law. Law-keeping, which no man can do was afforded only to the Hebrew through the Abrahamic covenant..NO Gentile could ever keep Mosaic law, and still cannot. Remember the sabbath, keep it Holy, is the 4th commandment of Mosaic law...... to the Hebrew in the Old covenant. The Hebrew/ Jewish Sabbath is Friday at Sundown, to Saturday at sundown. The way it was kept was to do absolutely nothing but rest...
.
Sunday is the day of rest, when God finishe creating the world and rested. Moses gave the Jews commandments to the Jews and one of them was to keep the sabbath day holy (Sunday) this was very important to them and they took it very seriously. This has rubbed off on catholisism and so Catholics also believe that Sunday should be a day of rest (where you are one with god). This is a very old rule, and in this modern age churches have made acceptions for Saturday seeming as how important work and buisiness is these days.
Depends on the denomination. Some churches run multiple services on a Sunday; others will have only one. Most churches will have a Sunday morning service, starting between 10-11am. Some churches will have an early service at breakfast time (8am), and others will have a second service in the evening - frequently with a more study-oriented structure. Most Christians would attend one service as a matter of course, with a second for a specific purpose when required.
Of course not! You can celebrate it no matter what you are!
Boy or girl doesnt matter they celebrate with a party
That's a matter of opinion.
Seventh Day Adventists, as well as many others, believe that keeping the Sabbath is a religious obligation. They believe that we should keep the Third Commandment as it is written. Similar to the obligation to (for example) building churches, it doesn't matter than humans determine what date it is - what matters is that they mark time in the way that God decrees that they should. Nobody would say that because churches are built by humans, people have no obligation to worship in them.
It doesn't matter where Christians worship because all churches are Jesus' home.
No. You should never celebrate anyone's death, no matter how awful things they have done.
It is all a matter of personal preference, but a lot of people seem to prefer Catholic Christian Churches and Presbyterian Churches.
For Christians, no. ---------------------------------- Yes, Christians need to keep the Sabbath, for the Sabbath was established by God (Exodus 20:8-11). To follow Christ's teachings would mean you are a Christian, you can't pick and chose what sounds nice to you. Jesus said in Matthew 22:37-38 " "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and mind. This is the first and greatest commandment." " But how can we "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and mind." And if we love the Lord our God with all our heart and mind, we will keep his commands, including remembering the sabbath by keeping it holy. Not by just remembering it. == Jesus Christ abolished the sabbath in the sense of it being an obligation. If we love the Lord our God with all our heart we will gladly follow Jesus and do His will. Since Jesus is God, He has the right and the authority to command. He left no ongoing commandment to keep the sabbath. In fact when the church met in Acts 15 to discuss the very matter of keeping the Law the sabbath was not mentioned. "Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy." Exodus 20:8 see also; Exodus 34:21, Numbers 15:32,36, Deuteronomy 5:12, Isaiah 56:2In short, Christians aren't selective about what they keep and what they don't, at least they shouldn't be. If Jesus clearly commanded it then Christians would do it. ------------------------------------------------------------ Yes we should follow Jesus with all our heart and all our will and yes, he is definatly God. And since Jesus is the same God as the Jehovah God in the old testement (just different name) he did too order us to keep the Sabbath worships. Jesus never abolished the Sabbath, nor did he constitute a different day.
Most churches do talk with married couples about where their relationship is at. Many churches give support and help to marriages, no matter how hard the problem may be.
Sure, it is a matter of personal choice.
