Does the Bible say don't marry out of your race?

Moses married a " Cushite " woman, wich means "black" and also happened to be a place we now call Africa. One certain relative of Moses made negitave comments concerning their union and was covered with " sores " and punished by God himself. Yes it is ok to marry outside your race. The idea that most " hate group " ppl. push is that God commanded the isrealites not to marry those " strangers " and those in other nations was because of " idol worship"... So as long as the one you seek to wed doesn't bow befor a golden cow or a tekki statue, I think you shall be just fine. P.S. I live in Alabama and come from a... Shall we say, " a typical / stereotypical red neck type" family. I fell in love with a black girl and had to question all that I was taught, " term used LOOSELY " God is a God of love and made us ALL!!!

Solomon was actually part black if you read the song of solomen in the kingjames version it says in the first part:

I am black but come yee daughters of Jerusalem as the tents of kedar as the curtains of Solomon.

look not upon me because I am black because the sun have looked upon me, my mother's children were angry with me.

that is song of Solomon verses 5-6

Actually, The Bible advises one quite strongly

against marrying out of ones "culture,"

stating that marriage is difficult enough

without this added complexity; however,

there is no specific Word against, or for,

marrying into a different race, per se,

although there are several NT examples

that seem to discourage this--but it may

also be inferred that it is the differences in

culture that cause the problem here.

The Old Testament suggests that people should not marry outside of their tribe, but says nothing about race.

This was a command to the nation of Israel it is not a command for all people.
