No, when a person dies he/she goes to heaven if his/her deeds were good or goes to hell if his/her deeds were bad

They will be admitted to hell if they were disbelievers and wont be take out.

ONLY will the True Believers be admitted to janaah and any sins they may have done which ALLAH deems fit for them to be punished for they will be thrown into hell and taken out by ALLAH's will and granted entry into jannah and also they may be forgiven.

Some Muslims do believe in reincarnation (as being incarnated from a human body into another).
The only way to look for the answer is from the Quran. The only source that is absolute is the Quran among the Muslims since it is considered the word of the Creator. In the Quran there are references for the cycles - tasting death and coming back to life. In fact, the Prophet of Islam was threatened by the Creator that if he had accepted the others' ideology he would taste life and death twice.From al-Isra--
وَلَوْلَا أَن ثَبَّتْنَاكَ لَقَدْ كِدتَّ تَرْكَنُ إِلَيْهِمْ شَيْئًا قَلِيلًا ﴿٧٤﴾ إِذًا لَّأَذَقْنَاكَ ضِعْفَ الْحَيَاةِ وَضِعْفَ الْمَمَاتِ ثُمَّ لَا تَجِدُ لَكَ عَلَيْنَا نَصِيرًا ﴿٧٥﴾ There are key words, in understanding this concept (I am not a scholar), that are confused within the Arabic meaning rather than the Quranic meaning. The words you should be looking for are بعث, رجع and try see the differences between both. There are Islamic sects and school of thoughts do believe in the reality of reincarnation. I am still researching them. Al Mu'aary, an ninth century Arabian poet would state his believe in reincarnation of human from a human body to another:


وجدنا اتّباع الشرع حزماً لذي النُّهى، -- ومن جرّبَ الأيّامَ لم ينكر النَّسْخا

و النسخ: نقل النفس الناطقة من بدن إنساني إلى بدن إنساني.

And regarding the Janna or Nar, they are temporary. The word خالد does not mean eternal, it means until is needed. Look at the expression in Arabic: خلد الى النوم. Pre-Islamic poetry would use this word also within the same meaning:


ألا عم صباحا أيها الطلل البالي .... وهل يعمن من كان في العصر الخالي

وهل يعمن إلا سعيد ومخلد .... قليل الهموم ما يبيت بأوجال

In Islam, if you do an evil act it will have its consequences - either in this life, the next life, or both. Also, if you do an act of good - it will have its consequences. That is similar to karma, but not exactly the same because it is God, alone, who rewards and punishes. www.freequran.org
