There is a verse in Genesis ch.18 in which, after being told that they would have a son, Sarah exclaims that her husband Abraham is already old (he was 100 years old at the time). Impotence is not mentioned openly (concerning Abraham). Soon after, however, (Genesis ch.21) Abraham did have a son (Isaac); and, after Sarah died (Genesis ch.23), he later had six more sons through Keturah (Genesis ch.25).
"The God of Abraham" is mentioned 37 times in the KJV.
Although the Bible certainly says that Abraham believed in God, there is nothing in the Bible to say that he believed in just one god.
Abraham is found in Genesis and Exodus. He was the father of us all, some people say.
The Bible doesn't say.
Abraham.
Sarah was also Abraham's half sister and although the bible does not specifically say that she was born there, Sarah and Abraham originally lived in the city Ur of the chaldees.
Maybe tradition says, but the Bible doesn't.
The Bible mentions people living up to 120 years old.
The Bible doesn't say when or how old she was when she died !
The Bible does not say when Abraham was born, but estimates based on the biblical genealogies place his birth around 2000 BCE. Abraham supposedly lived to 175, his son Isaac to 180 and then Jacob lived to 147. Abraham had his second son, Isaac, at 100 years old. then Isaac was 60 when Jacob was born, so the three Patriarchs lived over a period of approximately 307 years according to the Bible.
The Bible says specifically that Haran, Abraham's brother, was BORN in Ur, and that Abraham was 'brought out of' Ur, so he was most likely born there too (Genesis 11:27-32)(Genesis 15:7)(Nehemiah 9:7)(Acts 7:2-4)
Isaac was 40 years old when he married Rebekah. Rebekah's age is not specified in the Bible during their marriage, but she was chosen by Abraham's servant when she willingly offered to draw water for him and his camels at the well.
