Quite the opposite I'm afraid!
I've actually seen God and the experience took almost 15 years to even START to characterize in language I could share because of the sheer complexity. I'll use "**" where words start to fail.
As simply as possible, God is an undifferentiated conscious, massive glowing entity with physical dimensions. God temporarily extends something like *tendrils* that have unique shapes, vectors and characteristics (collectively "identifiers").
As these "extensions" reach out from the main mass and take on an increased amount of complexity in their identifiers, these become aware of their uniquieness from the source. They also "perceive" other extensions as unique identities--or simply put--other life (people, frogs, moss, etc).
As the extensions reach a threshold level of uniqueness and distance from the God-source, they *forget* or no longer realize that they are just bumps on the God source. This is somehow important because the perceptions, reflections, interactions and learnings of these tendrils are valued and treasured by the God-source. Not sure why.
I can share more, but again much is hard to represent in words. I struggle with the experience quite a bit and wouldn't necessarily wish it on anyone without warning.
Hope this helps.
It says that "God 'subjected all things under his feet.'...then the Son himself will also subject himself to the One who subjected all things to him, that God may be over all things."
Answer this question… there is only one all-powerful god.
There is only one god. God rules everything by himself.
The deities are representations of one god,They all have different roles and each there own festivals but each is equally revered. Hindu's believe in all gods of each religion, however that they are a representative of one supreme being..
because God created all animals. He made each one different
God did not make himself because he was always born. No one made God nor did himself. Again , always existed.
Certainly, Many people believe that Hinduism is Religion of thousands of Gods. But they do not realize that all these god refer to one Supreme God & are direct forms of the Supreme god himself.
The cast of One Nation Under God - 2009 includes: Will Bakke as himself Lawson Hopkins as himself Austin Meek as himself
They all believe in the same God! If you ask each group separately, they may not admit it, but the god each believes in is one and the same.
mammy god crapped him out :) There is no such thing as the one you cal "God", foolish mortal!
It is one of the fundamental doctrines of the Catholic Faith and almost all other Christian denominations that Jesus Christ was God. Christ Himself declared His divine origin and nature and repeatedly did acts and said things to reinforce this truth. Based on this, God did indeed make Himself man and communicate with us people.
He gave himself, body and soul, to his beliefs. Although Jesus was in human form and gave up His glory while on earth (and thus submitted then to His heavenly Father) He did not really surrender Himself totally to God as He Himself was and is God from all eternity. He thus could not surrender to Himself, nor did He need to. Any surrendering which He did for a time while on earth He did as a pattern for all who were to believe in Him should follow. Not all Christians believe that Jesus is God. This is an old debate...He did give all of himself for the salvation of humanity....can we all agree on this one? Christians are agreed that Jesus is God. This is, and has always been the Christian belief. The Bible teaches clearly that Jesus is God. To state that Jesus is not God is not Christian teaching. To believe this makes a person, by definition not a Christian. In relation to the question asked, then it would appear somewhat illogical for Jesus to surrender to Himself. As stated, He did as a pattern, surrender Himself to the Father. Later He returned to the 'glory I had with thee before the world was.'
