King James Bible. At the end of Acts 17:34. But it is spelled "Damaris", not Demaris. Demaris is just a different spelling and it's how my name is spelled. It goes back in my family spelled both ways in different generations back to the Mayflower. Stephen Hopkins , who was a Mayflower passenger and signed the Mayflower Compact had two daughters named "Damaris", one died at about three years old and he named a later daughter the same. Some spellings are Demeris, Dameris, Demaris, Damaris. Also, sometimes spelled with a capital M, as in DeMaris.
