Explain the beliefs about Allah expressed in the Shahadah and in Surah 1?

أشهد أن لا اله الا الله وأشهد أن محمدا رسول الله

Shahada: " I bear witness that there's no god but Allah & I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah".

This is the first pillar of Islam, to be a Monotheist who believes in Allah,the only one god with no one associated to Him, no partner,no parents & no son. & to believe in the last prophet Muhammad Peace be upon him.

Note: Your belief in the prophet Muhammad PBUH means your belief in all the prophets who preceded him as Muhammad himself taught that in his message.

(بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم)الحمد لله رب العالمين * الرحمن الرحيم * مالك يوم الدين * اياك نعبد واياك نستعين * اهدنا الصراط المستقيم * صراط الذين أنعمت عليهم * غيرالمغضوب عليهم ولا الضالين

This is the first & most important surah in the holy Quran, Al-Fatiha, the English translation to it is as follows:

( In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

1. All Praise be to Allah, the Lord of all Creation;

2. Most Gracious, Most Merciful;

3. Master of the Day of Judgment.

4. Thee do we worship, and Thine aid we seek.

5. Show us the straight way,

6. The way of those on whom Thou hast bestowed Thy Grace,

7. those whose (portion) is not wrath, and who go not astray )

Amen.

*. About this surah & the belief in Allah:

• This surah is recited many times each prayer.
• Muslims can never pray without this surah.
• Allah is the only praise-worthy, all your favors the seen & the unseen is from Him alone.
• Allah is the Lord of all creation, He is the Creator who created, creates & will create everything in this universe.
• Allah is the Compassionate, His mercy is unlimited.
• Allah is the One who will judge us in the day of judgement, He is the Fair Judge & Witness.
• Worship Allah ALONE. Allah is the ONLY one who deserves our worship.
• Allah is the One we beseech for help.
• Allah is the One whom we ask for guidance. We ask Him for guidance so many times a day & He does guide us to the righteous path as He is the Merciful & we trust Him..
