A Buddha is not chosen, when a person becomes enlightened he becomes a Buddha or Bodhisattva, or if he enounces Nirvana to return to enlighten others. If they were "chosen" it would imply a chooser, a set of rules, and an authority. None of these exist.

What do buddist priests do?

There is no such thing as a Buddhist priest, as in the sense of Christianity. There are Monks, who have dedicated their lives to the Dharma to become enlightened. These monks may perform certain rituals and may teach others as needed. But Monks, in general, study the teachings (the Dharma), meditate, and do the chores needed in daily life.

What language do monks sing?

a language from India or Chinese idk -------- Depends on the Monks. Christian Monks tend to sing in Latin (sometimes Greek) Buddist Monks tend to sing in Pali (a language from Nepal/India) Hindu Monks don't chant as far as I can find out but if they did it would probably be in Urdu. Islam doesn't really have monks but they have dervishes who whirl and dance instead of chanting. There aren't really Jewish Monks.

What is a buddist marriage cermony like?

There is no Buddhist marriage ceremony. Buddhist monks often are asked to attend weddings and add blessings but the ceremonies belong to the culture of the people being married. Buddhism's origins lie in a community of monks and nuns who gave up family life and lived apart from society, so weddings are not native to Buddhism.
