How did Islam spread to Europe?

The people who ask this question fail to realise, that Islam was in Europe since the great Ottoman Empire, till the end of World War 1, & now its Sweeping the Planet, across Europe, Asia, Africa, Austrilia, & America, Islam is Spreading like a wild fire, recently I watched a Video of 1000 people Reverting to Islamin Germany at Once, on YouTube, so people are seeing the true light.

Big question! Islam was around in Europe from the beginning of its founding around 630 AD. The Umayyad where the first 'empire' in Europe (711 AD) situated where now is Spain and Portugal. Islam never reached into Russia, instead Russia annexed Islamic territories. Especially with the expansionism of Peter I the Great when the Eastern and Southern territories where added.

Islam came to what is now Euope in four distinct waves. Following the death of Islam's founder around 632 CE, Muslims began spreading from central Arabia into the Middle East, Egypt, North Africa, Central Asia and beyond. In just over a century, Arab Muslims conquered a vast empire, establishing themselves as the dominant and eventually the majority ethnic group. From what became the Islamic Far West (Maghrib), they crossed into what is now Spain in 711 and over the next 8 centuries ruled large parts of the peninsula (lost politically in 1492, last Muslims expelled in 1609). The also occupied parts of southerns France for a few decades and Sicily for 2 centuries. In south-eastern Europe, Islamised Turks conquered and gradually colonised Asia Minor (modern-day Turkey), eventually replacing the indigenous Hellenised people ruled by the Greek Byzantine empire. Their forces spilled over into the Balkans and ruled much of that part of Europe until the early 20th century, when the Turks lost most of their European possessions. Muslim communities made up of Turks and Islamised Slavs, Romanians, Albanians and Greeks emerged; some still living there today. In the 10th century, some communities in what is now Russia's Tartarstan converted to Islam, eventually establishing a powerful state that fell to Russian Orthodox power in the 16th century. Finally, the last Islamic wave coincides by and large with post-1945 process of decolonisation, which led many migrants from former European colonies and overseas territories in Africa and Asia to emigrate to Europe (primarily but not exclusively their former colonial masters). In addition, large number of Turks (and Kurds) emigrated from Turkey to Germany and to a lesser extent France. At present, only one European country (other than Turkey which has a small region in Europe) has a (nominal) Muslim majority, namely Albania. Proportionately, Bosnia-Herzegovina has the second largest Muslim population. Russia has the largest indigenous Muslim population (around 15 per cent out of 145 million). France has the largest immigrant nominally Muslim population with about 10 per cent (out of 60 million). All these figures should be taken with a grain of salt. Many Muslims are non practicing (especially in the Balkans and in France). Many are Muslim by culture and agnostic or atheist in terms of belief and practice. Other Muslims are actually indigenous Europeans who converted to isalm (because of marriage or out of belief).

Islam has always been a minority religion in Europe. The number of converts has increased recently, due to the increased interest in Islam after 9/11.

well Muslims concurred Spain and invaded it for an extended period before it was taken back by brave christian Spanish men, but Muslims are now spreading in Spain through Immigration.
