There are many issues, but here are two:Uneducated people still call them Hebrews (instead of Jews).Their homeland is surrounded by Arab enemies, and world opinion usually sides with the Arabs.
Abraham founded the idea of one God above all others; he didn't found the Hebrews. The Hebrews had been around for many thousands of years prior to Abraham.
Ospreys can be found in every continent except Antarctica and is heavily populated in North America (migrating to South America in winter) and Europe (migrating to Africa in winter).
Judaism
Good question. I would consider it a personal family epic, rather than a major historical epic.
They had to cross many things, including the Sea of Reeds, the Sinai Desert, the Negev Desert, and the Jordan River.
The Hebrews wrote the Hebrew Bible. A Christianized version of these writings is called "The Old Testament".
Tradition holds that Abraham and his immediate family were the first Hebrews. They lived in the Land of Israel.
