They replaced Judas, the traitor with a vote and then waited in an upper room for the Holy Spirit to come as Jesus promised. There is no record of any fear in them as when Jesus was crucified, (John 20.19)

When Jesus was on this earth, with his twelve disciples , Jesus was filled with the holy spirit, but once he was crucified and had ascended into heaven, he was no longer with them in person. But he had promised to sed the holy ghost as a comforter to them, asnd they were filledwith it on the day of Pentecost.
Jesus told his disciples to go and spread his name and his word. After saying that he gave the disciples the language of tongues.then Jesus ascended towards heaven.

They traveled to different regions, preached about Jesus, and performed miracles to demonstrate his power. They also appointed leaders and wrote letters to guide and encourage the growing Christian community.

Despite feeling sad and confused at first, they eventually felt a sense of peace and hope, knowing that Jesus had fulfilled his mission on earth and would always be with them in spirit.

According to Christian belief, Jesus ascended to heaven after his resurrection by rising up into the sky in front of his disciples and then disappearing into the clouds. This event is known as the Ascension of Jesus.
