That is true to some extent. The later books of RigVeda (Book 1 and Book 10) contain influences of interaction with Hinduism. But the other way round is more correct - that the Vedas and Aryan culture became a part of hinduism.
It is a common misconception. Aryan religion did not grow into hinduism. Hinduism is the indigenous belief of people who lived here, Aboriginals and Dravidians. Aryan religion merged into it and modified it.
Hinduism grew from Brahmanism, religion of the aryas. as time passed Brahmanism began to accept many of the values of different religions and cultures, the wider and more detailed version of Brahmanism is known as Hinduism.
i think it has grown because the popualtion on earth has gotten bigger and there ahs been more people to choose there religion e.g Hinduism even one of my friends is a Hindu
Hinduism keeps unity in society. The living proof is India itself, where being 80% of the population it lets other religion to grow. where any chief office can be held by non-Hindu. Its a religion which never promoted conversions. Which acknowledges all the religions and faiths. Its the religion which never claim as the only way to eternity. being Hindu one can be atheist too. No other religion can offer that much of freedom.
