The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church) performs full-immersion baptisms. Candidates for baptism must be at least eight years old and meet basic faith requirements. If under 18 they must have parental permission. The person performing the baptism must be a male who has been ordained Priest in the Aaronic Priesthood. Most Mormon males over the age of 16 are eligible to perform a baptism.
Both the person performing the baptism and the person being baptised will wear all white and stand in the water (ideally waist-deep). The person performing the baptism will raise their right hand to the square and give a short prayer, baptizing the individual in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. The one being baptized is then fully immersed under the water and lifted back out. Baptisms may be performed anywhere that deep enough water can be found. Often, church buildings have fonts that may be used, but rivers, lakes, Swimming Pools, or oceans are also acceptable.
The requirements to be a candidate for baptism, aside from age and parental permission, are a stated testimony that Jesus Christ is your Savior, belief that the Church is the true Church of Christ upon the earth, and obedience to the basic commandments of God for a certain period of time.

In Mormon beliefs, John the Baptist is seen as a key figure who restored the authority to baptize. Mormons believe that John the Baptist appeared to Joseph Smith and Oliver Cowdery in 1829 and conferred the Aaronic Priesthood, which includes the authority to baptize, upon them. This event is considered significant in Mormon practices as it established the foundation for the practice of baptism within the faith.
Lutherans do baptize babies, and most believe it should be done. They baptize adults as well.
welcomed who? The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church) will accept any living person for baptism so long as they are at least eight years old and are living the standards of the Church. (such as avoiding alcohol and tobacco and avoiding sex outside of marriage) This has always been the church's policy. Mormons will baptize anyone no longer living by proxy so long as they have a name, birth/death date, and permission from a direct descendant. It is against church policy to baptize anyone who has been dead for less than 100 years without consent from a living relative.
