Just ex-communicate yourself and stop attending church rituals. No need for formal declaration.

Yes. You could do that ofcourse. But I am guessing your asking this question because of a deeper intellectual and spiritual conflict with the catholic church that simply not going to mass would not satisfy...

So my advice is, use the internet to research the church and the problems you have with it, see if theres anything you are missing that's right there in front of you - after all, people become catholics every day for a reason...

Hope this helps.

When a person was kicked of the Catholic Church?

ExcommunicationRoman Catholic AnswerI could be wrong, but I don't know of anyway to remove a person from the Catholic Church. If a person is a Catholic, then they remain a Catholic, subject to all the laws of the Church until they die. An excommunicated person is under a specific penalty in which they can not receive the Sacraments or be given a Christian burial, but they are still required to attend Mass, and abide by all the other regulations. A person may remove themselves from the Church's jurisdiction, but they are the only ones who may do that - the Church cannot.

The division of the Christian Church?

There is only one Catholic Church. There are no divisions. There are some non-Catholic denominations who call themselves Catholic but who are not Catholic, they are Protestant. If the church is not united under the pope in Rome, it is not a Catholic Church.
