I think we need to define faith. There are a lot of wrong definitions of faith especially as we think of it in the Christian religion. Some have said that faith is just a blind acceptance. It is like being blindfolded and stepping over a cliff. So let me limit the definition of faith to the faith in The Bible. Faith is a belief in a person. It is the person of Jesus. Jesus is a person who lived and died in history. Therefore he was a real person. He rose again from the dead. Faith is not just a blind acceptance. It is based on facts. So for example Jesus said he gives eternal life and to prove it he performed miracles that only God can do. People saw this. Jesus did not do these things in a dark corner. Jesus rose from the dead and people SAW him after he rose from the dead. We have at least 12 times recorded in the bible when people saw him. At one time there were 500 people in the group. so now to answer your question we respond by faith by believing in what Jesus promised to give us and that is eternal life. Faith is also complete trust in a person and this means that we have complete trust in Jesus in what he says and what he did.

Young people today can respond to the call of baptism by actively seeking a deeper understanding of their faith and its significance in their lives. They can engage in community activities, participate in discussions about spirituality, and reflect on their personal beliefs. Additionally, connecting with mentors or leaders in their faith communities can provide guidance and support as they explore the meaning of baptism and its role in their spiritual journey. Ultimately, embracing baptism can be a step towards a committed and transformative relationship with their faith.

Man is called to respond to God's plan in Christ through faith, which involves trusting in Jesus as Lord and Savior. This response also includes repentance, turning away from sin and embracing a life aligned with God's will. Additionally, believers are called to live out their faith actively, sharing the message of Christ's love and grace with others and serving the community in His name.
