Some see the world through The Bible, as if through a filter. They unquestioningly accept the Jewish self-defined divine right to the Holy Land, and for that reason alone, believe that the Israelis have a greater right to this land than do the Palestinians. Many even believe that whatever the Israelis do must be accepted with approval. A small fringe believes that when the Israelis have removed all non-Jews from Israel and the Palestinian territories, Jesus will then return in clouds of glory. For this fringe element, anything that denies the Palestinians their ancestral rights can only be encouraged.
For some Christian sects, the second coming of Jesus is so imminent that the present world is only temporary. Members of the Jehovah's Witnesses often do not make long-term plans that may simply be thwarted by the second coming.
The Bible is interpreted as saying that the world is only a few thousand years old, and that all species were created by God in much the form they are now. Some Christians now accept the scientific evidence that this is not really what happened, but others insist that the Bible is literally true. For them, science is wrong, not the Bible.
Because Christianity is a monotheistic religion, its followers are not permitted to countenance the existence of other gods. In fact, many Christians are unable to accept equal rights for other religions, even as a gesture of good will. Unconsciously, there is a sense of righteousness that followers of other religions could mistake for arrogance.
A sense of tolerance for other worldviews could result in a feeling of betraying the view that Christianity is indisputably right. If people can not accept even the nominal possibility that others are right, then it is difficult for them to be fully tolerant of other views.

Yes, sensory stimulus plays a significant role in shaping our perceptions. Our senses gather information from the environment, which is then processed by the brain to create our perceptions of the world around us. Different senses can influence how we interpret and understand the world, leading to subjective perceptions.
The portrayal of a European Jesus in religious art has historically influenced cultural perceptions of Christianity by reinforcing the idea of a white, Western-centric version of the religion. This depiction has been used to promote the dominance of European culture and values, often at the expense of other perspectives and interpretations of Christianity. It has also contributed to the marginalization of non-European cultures within the religion, perpetuating a narrow and exclusionary understanding of Christianity.
Global Christianity, without 'the'
They're not. People are colour blind, smell differently, see different things, imagine they see things that are not there and so on. If perceptions of the world were always accurate, philosophers would have a lot less to fuss about.
