It is not true that Allah is Nimrod's mother. Allah is the Creator and is same God worshiped in Christianity and Judaism. Refer to question below.

Answer 2

It is a common canard (false statement) that Muslims are moon-worshipers and that the entire nature of Islamic belief is rooted in lunar cycles and lunar presences. While Islam takes the moon as a religious symbol more often than other monotheistic faiths, the moon is not considered Divine. As stated in Answer 1, Muslims worship the same singular, omnipotent, and formless God as Jews and Christians,

Allah, in terms of linguistic development, derives from Allahuma which is the Arabic equivalent of Elohim, which is the Hebrew term used in The Bible for God. (For example, Gen 1:1 is Breishit bara Elohim et-hashamyim v'et-ha'aretz. -- In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.) The Arabic word for moon is Qamar and the Sabean moon gods (since the Arab Sabeans actually were moon worshipers) are similarly distinct linguistically from Allah.
