There are 66 books in the normal bible:

39 of them are considered the Old Testament or Hebrew Scriptures. They were written primarily in the Hebrew language - a few in Aramaic.

The remaining books were written in Greek. These comprise the New Testament or Greek Scriptures.

The entire collection is considered one work. It begins with the creation on the earth where man is created perfect and lives in harmony with Almighty God and ends with the restoration of mankind's relationship with Almighty God after Armageddon.
