The ark was shut for 371 days.
The door of Noah's ark was closed by God (See Genesis 7:16). The reason could be as, only God really knew when it would start raining.
There was only one great gigantic door on the ark.(Genesis 7:16)
The Bible only says that there was a "door in the side" of the ark. (Genesis 6:16(NIV)
Apparently 1. Ark. It can be 2 if you count the word mark, as in, "There is a mark on the door."
The door of Noah's Ark, according to the biblical description in Genesis, was a single door located on the side of the Ark. While the exact dimensions are not specified in the Bible, the Ark itself was described as being 300 cubits long, 50 cubits wide, and 30 cubits high. A cubit is roughly 18 inches, suggesting the door would have been quite large, but specific measurements are not provided.
direct = shut indirect = ark I think
the ark had a total of 40 windows and 1 door on the ark
At first they were able to enter the ark but they choose not to because they didn't believe anything that Noah had said. You see in those days nothing like 'flood' had happened before because GOD had just made earth and he didn't want to destroy it but has sin grew he was filled regret and he said to wipe out every creature on the earth.Noah faithfully obeyed GOD in building the ark. When the flood was about to come the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY shut the ark door so even though Noah wanted to open the door he couldn't.
The people, the birds, and the animals were on the ark one year and ten days, according to Genesis 7:14-17, 8:14-19. Noah was 600 years old when the 40 days and 40 nights of rain began. He turned 601 just before the flood waters completely receded.

Genesis 8:4,5 mentions, "In the seventh month, on the 17th day of the month, the ark came to rest on the mountains of Arʹa·rat. And the waters were steadily decreasing until the tenth month. In the tenth month, on the first of the month, the tops of the mountains appeared." But Noah waited until the ground was dry to come out. Genesis 8:13,14, "Now in the 601st year,+ in the first month, on the first day of the month, the waters had drained from the earth; and Noah removed the covering of the ark and saw that the surface of the ground was drying. In the second month, on the 27th day of the month, the earth had dried off." (NWT)
