There are 32 citations in the Old Testament, by my count, ranging from Genesis 1:3 when Jehovah God said "Let there be light" to one of the 14 times Isaiah references or mentions 'light, ' such as in Isaiah 49:6 when Isaiah is talking about the Messiah being a light to the Gentiles. There are also references in Proverbs (4:18) and Psalms (7 times: 27:1, 36:9, 43:3, 74:16, 112:4, 118:27, 119:105) as well as Daniel (5:14), Amos (5:18), Micah (7:8) Zechariah (14:6); Exodus (10:23), 2Samuel (23:4), 1Kings (11:36) and Job (10:22).

There are also 32 references or citations in the New Testament.
