Christianity spread in all directions from Jerusalem. The apostles obeyed the dictum, "go, teach ye all nations..." We are more familiar with the spread to Rome, but there were pockets of Christians in Asia and India.
There is no such thing as the "Jerusalem Religion". Jerusalem is a city, not a set of beliefs. Although Judaism, Christianity, and Islam all hold Jerusalem to be sacred, none of these religions was founded in Jerusalem.
There is no finish of the spread of Christianity. Christianity is still gaining converts in the present time. It began spreading out from Jerusalem shortly after the death of Jesus which tradition says was in 33 AD. which would make Christianity roughly 1980 years old.
Christianity began with the resurrection of Jesus Christ, which occured in Jerusalem in present day Israel. The movement spread to the region and into what is now Turkey and then into Roman provinces.
Jerusalem
No..the crusades were intended to capture Jerusalem for Christianity and to oust the Moslems from there. The Jews suffered terribly during the crusades.
Christianity is spread all over the world.
Jerusalem is important because a number of major events that shaped Christianity took place there. It is in Jerusalem that Jesus Christ was crucified and where He arose from.
