Is Allah a moon god

"Allah" is just the Arabic word for "God". Even in Arabic versions of The Bible, God is written as Allah in Arabic.

Allah (God in English) is the same God in Christianity and Judaism. God is the god of all universe creations including the earth, the sky, the sun, the moon, the planets and stars, etc., and all mankind and other creatures. All Muslims worship Allah (God in English) as the one and only one God with no partner, no father, no son, no companion, no associate, and no equivalence.

There is no such thing as the moon God in Islam! but if by moon God you mean the God of moon then yes! Islam is an Abrahamic Heavenly religion just like the Christianity and Judaism and it was originated by the God of moon, sun, heaven, hell, earth, sky and in other word the omnipotent creator of the whole universe. Muslims believe that Allah (Arabic word for God) chose his prophets sent them to their nations with guidance (usually known as the text or Holy Books) to lead people too the goodness and morality. As Moses and Jesus were prophets of Allah Muhammad was the prophet of Allah too. He is known as the last prophet and his religion is called Islam and his followers are labeled as Muslims.

Muslims believe in Monotheism and it is actually their first principle to believe in the oneness of God. Therefor for the Question above, in Islamic point of view there isn't a single Muslim believing in existence of a God known as the Moon god. So NO! Islam didn't come from the moon god.
