Is Asia going to take over the world?

Almost certainly not. Although places like China now have a booming economy, it is likely to slow down sometime. To take over the world a powerful military is required, the USA has the most formidable Army, Navy and Air force of any country, in terms of Technology and Power Projection. The European Union is a group of states likely to act together if such a war was to occur, they would be more powerful as a group than even the USA and could easily repel a military attack by the far east. Again it is important to note that Europe and the USA would probably fight on the same side creating an even more powerful force.
