I personally prefer the language of the KJV (and not the NKJV, either, the real thing). However, some passages may be difficult for modern audiences to understand, and other translations may be helpful in such cases.
Also, some modern translations are actually moreaccurate.
Mink
Yes. In Isaiah 3:22 (KJV) it speaks of "crisping pins". Webster's 1828 dictionary defines this a a type of curling iron in biblical days. In all newer dictionaries as well as all new translations of the bible, define it as a purse. There are wrong.
There is no verse in the Bible that says that cremation is wrong.
There is much dispute amongst scholars in interpreting the bible's content. There is nothing in the bible attributed to God which, in every reasonable interpretation, is objectively wrong. (I am only familiar with the Old Testament, and cannot speak for other bibles.)
Incorrect, inaccurate, wrong, false, flawed
No everything in the BIBLE is correct!
No, it is not wrong for a confirmed Catholic to read the King James Version (KJV) of the Bible. While the Catholic Church traditionally uses the New American Bible or the Revised Standard Version-Catholic Edition, individuals are encouraged to explore different translations for personal study. The KJV can provide valuable insights and literary appreciation, but Catholics should be mindful of its differences from Catholic teachings and the canon of Scripture.
It isn't wrong, it's only symbolic. This means that you probably aren't being possessed by demons but instead that you can't control your mind because of your mind illness. Many things in the Bible are symbolic but don't push your luck.
The belief in the King James Version (KJV) only doctrine is considered wrong by some individuals because it limits the understanding and interpretation of the Bible to only one translation, disregarding the value of other translations and original texts. This can lead to a narrow perspective and potentially hinder a deeper understanding of the scriptures.
the world population growing is never mentioned in the bible except (i may be wrong) for when God created Adam and EveAnswer:The exact count varies with different translations. In the King James version, some form of the word "increase" appears approximately 150 times.
None of the parts in the bible are wrong.
I don't know who sings it, but I can remember some of the words: I know my bible is right, something else is wrong (something is wrong) Something else is wrong (something is Wrong) Oh, something else is wrong (something is wrong) I know that (something else is wrong) In Genesis (read your bible) the world was made (read your bible) By my God's creative hand (creative Hand) In Exodus, the Hebrews marched (they wanted to claim the promised Land) Maybe someone else can remember more of it.... continuing "Read Leviticus(read your bible), Numbers(read your bible), Deueteronomy (read your bible), Joshua (read your bible), Read Judges( read your bible), Ruth (read your bible), 1st and 2nd Samuel (read your bible ), 1st and 2nd Kings (read your bible), 1st and 2nd Chronicicles ...
