No, the Tanach is not the only justification for the Jewish State of Israel.

The fact that Jews have lived in Israel without interruption for over 3000

years and that it is the historical Jewish homeland is justification.

The Bible is not the only, or even the main, justification for the Jewish State. For

Statehood, dated May 1948. The Jewish State doesn't require 'justification', any

more than the USA, England, Australia, or the Vatican City does.

If the Bible is a book of lies, then the more religious among us will burn in hell,

and will have all eternity to suffer for our lifelong failure to lie, cheat, steal, murder,

commit rape and incest, torture animals, swindle our business partners and our

customers, and to repent our miserable and misguided crimes of devoting one day

of every seven to thoughts of what we can learn from it, and of devoting other days

throughout the year to expressions of gratitude for life, its gifts, and its possibilities.

Oh woe! How bitter our punishment will be!
