Is there punishment on who converts out of Islam?

No, there is no punishment on who converts out of Islam. God (Allah) says in Quran that no compulsion in religion. God says that the righteous path to Allah is clear and the wrong path is clear and every one is responsible of his/her choice. Only on the Day of Judgment, every one will be judged if he/she did right or wrong in his/her first life.

Quran says:

لَا إِكْرَاهَ فِي الدِّينِ ۖ قَد تَّبَيَّنَ الرُّشْدُ مِنَ الْغَيِّ ۚ فَمَن يَكْفُرْ بِالطَّاغُوتِ وَيُؤْمِن بِاللَّـهِ فَقَدِ اسْتَمْسَكَ بِالْعُرْوَةِ الْوُثْقَىٰ لَا انفِصَامَ لَهَا ۗ وَاللَّـهُ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ ﴿٢٥٦﴾

(Meaning English translation):

{There is no compulsion in religion. Certainly, right has become clearly distinct from wrong. Whoever rejects the devil and believes in God has firmly taken hold of a strong handle that never breaks. God is All-hearing and knowing. (256)} (Quran, Chapter 2, Verse 256)

This rule is explained by another Quran verse (Quran, Chapter 5, Verse 48) that says:

...If God had willed, He would have made you all in one nation and one religion), but that He (God) left you in different religions to compete in good deeds and society benefits. The return of all of you is to God; then He (God) will inform you about that in which you differ}

The above is incorrect, the below is correct. No one leaves Islam without severe penalties, at minimum outcast from society, disavowed and disowed by family, loss of job, home, property and family to death to the apostate.
