To me, this is an easy question. No matter how stupid an idea might sound, some of our greatest accomplishments as human beings came from them. I mean if you had told a caveman that you had an idea for communicating with people all over the world with an invisible network called the internet, it would have sounded pretty stupid. I know that's a bit extreme, but take Leonardo DiVinci. His ideas were considered stupid, now we look back at him as a great inventor far ahead of his own time. The greatest accomplishments start with an idea, even stupid ones.

The same experiment was conducted 6 times. How many times should the results have been similar for them to be valid?

The answers are usually always valid. What may or may not be valid are your assumptions about the underlying model. Also, the number of times the results should be similar depends on the number of possible outcomes and the variability in the outcomes. For example, if you spin a fair spinner with 12 equal segments, then the probability of similar results is less than likely.
