I do understand that most of these women are not force to wear the veil, but that does not change the fact these women have chosen to live like this, which in my opinion, have given up all desire to work. You stated that it is a misconception that women wear a veil in the name of Islam , but when I spoke to some of these women, nearly all of them said, they do it in the name and love of Islam, it is not a cultural thing to them. So these women are giving up all their desires and ambitions in the name of Islam. I know this is going to sound a bit nasty, but is it easy to wear a veil in England and not work, as these women can claim income support from the government , while all the tax payers, work for their living, like me.The attention of the Islamic society is to exclude women from aspect of society including working and employment, the veil is only one part of that intention.
