By the time the British came, the word Hindu had become popular and the word Aryan became out of date, so much so that even Hindus began to make less use of it. So it was easy for the British to bring their story version that Aryans were from a different country and had come to rule India, by destroying the Aborigines. Slowly, all the Hindus got angry with the Aryans for invading India. They imagined that the Brahmins alone were the Aryans, and they were more powerful than the Hindus.Actually all Hindus are the Aryans.
