Roman Catholic AnswerThe only real peace that exists in the world is that which is given to men by God, which men must accept in humility. As long as there is sin in the world, as long as men do not cooperate fully with the Will of God, there will not be peace in the world. Protestants were created, and established as a protest against Christ's Body - the Church. As long as they are in opposition to God, Himself, there will never be real peace. Given all that, Catholics pray for, and work for peace at all times and in all places. Read through the daily Mass text, as every day, Catholics kneel in submission before God, and pray for the "peace which the world cannot give." All Christians, including protestants, who are sincere in their attempting to follow Our Blessed Lord, pray for and work for peace. But, again, it is only given by God - we can not create it. Any peace that we try to create is bound to fail.
