The Bible speaks of germs in Matthew verses 1-20 and Mark 7 verses 1-23. They are the same parable though. Matthew 15:16-20 ".... whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and is eliminated? 18 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and they defile a man. 19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies. 20 These are the things which defile a man, but to eat with unwashed hands does not defile a man." To be more clear of this parable, I believe the Holy Spirit is telling me that if you have true faith in God that you will not be harmed by anything you touch or eat, you will not be affected by the germs. But if you have doubts, fears, worries, disgust, (or other bad thoughts, like mentioned above, that are not of God) then you will be defiled, meaning God will allow you to be exposed to the germs, and be affected by them if they contain a bacteria, disease, or other affliction. I, personally, no longer worry about germs like I used to. I only wash my hands with soap when I have a doubt or lack faith, like when I get cleaner chemicals on my hands, blood from raw meet, etc. I do believe, though, that if I had complete 100% faith that God will protect me from that, I would not be affected at all. My husband used to work with very dangerous chemicals and sometimes he wasn't wearing wearing gloves. He hardly ever washes his hands, even then, and still was seldom affected. He usually had/has true faith then and now. But he also gets doubts (or other ungodly thoughts) from time to time. Nobody (besides Jesus Christ Himself) will ever have perfect faith. Because of satan, he will always try to get us to doubt or fear from time to time to get us farther away from God.

One Bible verse that can be related to magnets is Proverbs 27:17 - "As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another." This verse illustrates how people can attract and learn from each other, similar to the way magnets attract when close together.
