The relevant text from the King James Bible:
1 Peter 3:18-20: "For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison; Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water. "
The bible never states that Jesus went to hell. There is no mention of Jesus taking a flower into hell with him.
Jesus
The Bible mentioned that Jesus went to synagogue and the Temple. He quoted from the Scriptures. His culture was Jewish.
The Bible doesn't say that one of the theives went to hell, but that the other thief went to heaven. People just assume that he went to hell because he was a theif. The reason that the other thief went to heaven was because he believed Jesus.
In the apostles creed, when Jesus descended into hell, it meant he went there to rescue those who through no fault of their own did not know Jesus. Answer: The Bible says that Jesus went to the grave to preach the Good News to the dead.
This is not stated anywhere in the New Testament.
NO Jesus did not go to hell he went to haven and that's true.
If you are talking from a biblical standpoint, the Bible never says that He taught anyone in Sheol (the Hebrew word for Hell). In fact, the Bible doesn't even say that He went to Hell at all, just that He died and went to be with God. Legend has it that He spent the three days between His death and resurrection in Hell, paying for the sins of the world, but this cannot be found in the Bible.
Jesus went to Heaven when he died on Earth, not Hell.
it means that Jesus also died and he went to hell. 'hell' does not mean the place of Satan or something. it means he also went among the dead.
There are many theories concerning the Bible in general and Jesus in particular. When Jesus was sent, he came to save his brother from destruction. So after saving his brother, and has risen then, there is no reliable evidence that indicates exactly where he went.
No where.
