The word "principles" when referring to the Word of God implies more of a suggestion by God but not a direct command. For example, Solomon's proverbs do not condemn going into debt, but they say that going into debt is not wise. Another example is polygamy. Marrying more than one person is forbidden only for bishops and deacons, but the practice is not condemned by God for people in general. However, there are certain "principles" that lead us to believe that God does not believe polygamy to be best. Think of the word "principle" as more of guideline rather than a straight-out rule.
Now, if you are wondering what are the spiritual principles from the Word of God specifically, rather than wondering what the word "principles" means, then The Bible gives 2 main principles starting in the Old Testament.
1. Love God with all of your heart, mind, and strength.
2. Love your neighbor as yourself.
In the New Testament, John (in his letter of I John) adds to these, "Believe in the name of the Son of God" (Jesus).
These two, plus one, principles sum up the entire Bible in a nutshell.
Love, as God is love. Truth, as God's word is truth. Peace, as Christ came to give all peace.
The word is "piety," which refers to a strong reverence or devotion to religious beliefs or principles.
Puritans were simply God-fearing people. They followed God's laws and the principles of The Bible.
The word of God is the Bible. They call it the word of God because God spoke every word of it and in the Bible it says "All scripture is God breathed". GOD BE WITH YOU ALL, AMEN!
The New Testament writers believed that God's word was inspired and authoritative. They saw their own writings as a means to convey God's message and teachings to others. They sought to faithfully communicate the message of Jesus Christ and the principles of the Christian faith through their writings.
A fair minded, decent, honest man will always stand by his principles.
Each religion system has its own dogmatic principles. These principles refer mostly to external characteristics of religion (e.g. to the way God is worshiped).
moral principles are established by God's will.
No one made God. It says in John 1:1, "In the begining was the Word and the word was with God and the word was God."
The Word is the word of God, and is the writings of God, but God didn't write them. But in other cases God is known to be omnipresent (everywhere at once).
The Old English word for God is "God."
When the believer is convinced through the word of God, and convicted by the Holy Spirit to repent (Changing one's ways), to live by the principles of what Jesus taught in the word, so that the believer can obtain forgiveness of, and release from sin.
