There are many tree types named in The Bible, but I believe you are referring to the two very special trees in the Garden of Eden so this is my answer.

Upon creating Adam from the 'red clay' or Earth, it says, "The Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden, and there He put the man whom He had formed. And out of the ground the Lord God made every tree grow that is pleasant to the sight and good for food. The TREE OF LIFE was also in the midst of the garden, and the TREE OF THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOOD AND EVIL" (Genesis 2:8-9).

The tree of life represented God's gift of His Holy Spirit and begettal of immortal God-life. It also pictured the way of God's government, based on the spiritual laws of God which are summarized by the 10 Commandments. It produced the good fruits of love, happiness, and joy.

The tree of the knowledge of good and evil symbolizedthe way of Satan the devil or the way of rebellion against God's government - the way of deciding for oneself right from wrong/good from evil. Eating of this tree meant rejecting God's law which defines right from wrong. This tree also pictures sin and its associated penalty, which for man is eternal death (Romans 6:23).

Satan deceived Eve but Adam rejected revealed spiritual knowledge from God. In other words, he rejected God's gift of His Holy Spirit by disobeying the explicit command of his Maker. What a different world this might have been if Adam & Eve ate from the tree of life. But do not be dismayed for God sent His Son (John 3:16), the 2nd Adam to rectify the wrongs of the 1st and his offspring. God's Holy Spirit is available today and will be freely available in the Millennium and beyond :)
