It is a type of religion. Just like Jewish and Christian. Most Chinese people are Buddhism. These people believe that when somebody dies, their soul keeps on going. They also don't believe in god. So they get another life. They also believe if your a bad person, you might be an animal one day. Be a pig and you get eaten! If your good, you will be a person again. But you will either be male or female. And when you get a new life, you don't remember and don't know you had a life before. It's a new beginning. If you are Buddhism, you MIGHT had a life before! And remember, these are just believes.
