Here are three religious contributions:
1) The Hebrews are the first to practice monotheism, the belief of one God.
2) The Hebrews gave the world the Ten Commandments, which was carried down
by Moses on Mt. Sinai
3) The Hebrews also gave the world the Old Testament.
The Torah.
The hebrews
Israelite aka Hebrews who are the Jews
They allowed the Hebrews to rebuild their Temple in Jerusalem and to have general religious freedom and autonomy within the Persian Empire.
The Hebrews settled in the region of Canaan, which is modern-day Israel and Palestine. This region is significant in the history and religious texts of Judaism.
Christianity and Islam both originated from the religious ideas of the Hebrews because they are all Abrahamic (they all follow Abraham of the Bible). These two religions were also created many years after Judaism had been established.
All the other ancients were idolatrous when Judaism started.
Yes, it is wholly based on those ideas.
The three civilizations that conquered the Hebrews were: Egypt, Assyrians, and Chaldeans. The Hebrews went through a cycle of being captured, enslaved, and freed.
Settling enabled the Hebrews to establish themselves consistently in a location and also consistently separate themselves as a group. With a location and the lack of a need to interact with other groups, the Hebrews slowly became a more typical and homogeneous people and their religious activities followed suit.
The Hebrews moved to more than just three places, but the three main places were: Cana'an (כנען) Egypt (מצרים) Babylon (בבל)
