What are your views on contraception?

As any faithful Catholic, my views on contraception are formed by the constant infallible teaching of the Church, which is contained in the Encyclical Letter of Pope Paul VI, Humanae Vitae, on the Regulation of Birth. In the late 1960's when Pope Paul issued this encyclical, an awful lot of the bishops, priests, laity, and theologians laughed at him and criticized him. Forty-five years later we can look back and say that Pope Paul, in issuing Humanae Vitae was definitely inspired by the Holy Spirit and was downright prescience. Every single prediction that Pope Paul made in Humanae Vitae has come true with the vengeance of Satan himself. Any artificial means used to restrict births is evil beyond our ability as limited human beings to measure. The dual purposes of marriage are love between a husband and wife, and the openness to life that is really openness to God. To use artificial Birth Control is to frustrate BOTH of these purposes with the tragic results with which we are now living. The only thing that will save us as a society is to return to our Christian roots. Before 1930 no church that had any pretensions to Christianity allowed artificial birth control, it was uniformly condemned as the evil that it is. After the Lambeth conference in England, when the Church of England first allowed limited birth control, the flow gates have opened, and Satan has taken over Christianity.
