Converts.
According to Acts 2:41 (NKJV), "about three thousand souls were added to them" [the Christian faith] on that day.
The Apostles were first called ''Christians'' in Antioch. They were called so to make fun of them, actually. But it stuck on as a name.
disciples
The Holy Spirit of God fell upon the Apostles and those gathered there after Peter spoke to them to repent (Acts 2:38-39). Some have dated this 1st Pentecost to have occurred on Sunday, June 17th, 31 AD. Most all Christian sects will agree that Pentecost is a Sunday. It means 50th or 50 days after the Resurrection of Jesus. What most never consider is that 50 is 7x7 days plus 1. Therefore the Resurrection had to be one day before this 50th day of Pentecost, Sunday. That would make it a Saturday which is correct.
It is simply: 3000/1 as an improper fraction
Peter was named by Our Lord to lead his Church - the first pope. It was up to him to guide the other apostles in the order they received to make disciples of all nations. It was up to Peter to organize and guide the new church.
You make 3000 in to the improper fraction 3000/1 and then you multiply across. So you get 3000*2/1*3
Jesus' actions at the Last Supper became the basis for our celebration of the Eucharist. From the very beginning of the Church, the Eucharist formed the center of its life of worship. This is clearly indicated by the Acts of the Apostles. In the second chapter we hear that the 3,000 people baptized by the apostles on Pentecost devoted themselves to "the breaking of the bread," a Lucan term for the Eucharist. To this day, each time we gather for Eucharist, we remember and make present the Lord as Christians have done since Jesus first said, "Do this in remembrance of me." http://www.americancatholic.org/Newsletters/SFS/an0697.asp
Apostle means "One who is sent". So that would make all christians apostles.
To make a 3000 ppm salt solution, first determine the amount of salt needed. Since ppm (parts per million) is equivalent to milligrams of solute per liter of solution, you would need 3000 mg of salt for every 1 liter of water. Measure out 3000 mg of salt (e.g., sodium chloride) and dissolve it in enough water to make the total volume 1 liter. Stir the solution until the salt is completely dissolved.
they make $3000$ per day ;)
He made his presence felt to the apostles and to us through his Holy Spirit: Christ in you, the hope of glory: (Colossians 1.27)
