According to the September 2011 Watchtower magazine, the word Armageddon appears in The Bible book of Revelation, in the 16th chapter. It is described as "the war of the great day of God the Almighty" where the "kings of the entire inhabited earth" gather together for war with God.

Jehovah's Witnesses believe that Armageddon is the culmination of the events that took place in the Bible book of Genesis, where God promises a seed (the "Messiah") that will offset the damage done by the sin of Adam and the challenge that Satan put in motion in the garden of Eden (that God did not have the right to rule over humankind).

When the seed arrived (Jesus Christ) and successfully fulfilled all the prophecies about the Messiah and forfeited his human life on behalf of all humans, that put the next phase into motion. Jesus gave them instructions on how to behave and how to recognize that Armageddon is impending (See Matthew Chapter 24)

Humans who refuse to adhere to Bible principles and acknowledge Jehovah as the Almighty God will be among those who are destroyed during the battle of Armageddon.

Armageddon will destroy much of humankind, although Revelation 7:9-14 indicates that there will be survivors - a "great crowd".

The Bible teaches that these survivors are not random, but chosen to survive because of their conduct and attitude in their worship of Almighty God Jehovah.

After Armageddon, the remaining humans will be honored to fulfill the original commission given to Adam and Eve, to cultivate the earth into a beautiful paradise and enjoy everlasting life.

Do Jehovah's Witnesses believe they can have my property after Armageddon?

As Witnesses believe that ''only Jehovah's Witnesses ...have any Scriptural hope of surviving the impending end of this doomed system dominated by Satan'' (Watchtower 1st Sept 1989 page 19) and assuming that the asker of the question is not and never becomes a Jehovah's Witness, then it is logical to assume that, after Armageddon, the asker would not be in a position to stop a Witness survivor of Armageddon from having the asker's property. In my experience I have heard some Witnesses express this view.
