We believe that 'sinning against the holy spirit' is the unforgivable sin.
Matthew 12:31 says "the blasphemy against the spirit will not be forgiven" and Hebrews 10:26 states "For if we practice sin willfully after having received the accurate knowledge of the truth, there is no longer any sacrifice for sins left." That means that if a person has truly learned how they should live there life according to God's Word The Bible and willfully, without caring or remorse, continues to practice sin, then they have sinned against the holy spirit.
So the priest that put Jesus Christ to death after knowing he was the Messiah but did it anyway because of jealousy, or Judas Iscariot who traded Jesus for money knowing what he was preaching was the truth, are all examples of those that sinned against the holy spirit.
