I would say most atheists adhere to issues of personal freedom, human rights, reproductive rights and principals of democracy. As atheists we also do not believe in magic, superstition or other non-empirical systems. We rely heavily on science for our answers and see the scientific method as the path of the future. Since we have no after life we believe we must do now whatever we can to improve our lives here and now.
