Christmas is not in The Bible. Christmas is the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ. We celebrate on December 25th every year, even though Jesus wasn't born on December 25th. When He was born, some wise men brought three gifts to Him--gold, myrrh, and frankincense. So on Christmas we give gifts to each other. It is tradition; it is not scriptural. Some people have criticized Christmas because it is all about selling presents and making money off people, and the focus on Jesus has been lost. But what amazes me is that for a season, every year, the whole world acknowledges Jesus Christ. Everyone knows Christmas is about celebrating the birth of Jesus. And many Christians go to church on this occasion (and on Easter) but on no other occasions out of the year.
