What does Jesus say about suing?

Jesus Christ is the Living "WORD" of God; the "Spokesman" for God: the Almighty Creator God of the Old Testament who came to earth as a man in these last days [see John chapter 1]. The Bible is God's "inspired Word" [Divinely-Revealed] to His servants; those whom He is calling out of the world to testify and witness to His way of doing things. The Bible deals with God's Laws, and is the "Judge" of matters and issues of dispute among His people... or at least, SHOULD BE, among those who profess His Holy Name.

Paul was "converted and trained" by Jesus, to take God's Truth [His Word - John 17:17] to the Gentile nations... to plant God's Word among the Gentiles and to teach them to learn to "trust" in God, His laws and the Holy Spirit in the handling of their disputes, also.

The Gentile church in Corinth suffered from their prior Gentile teachings [worldly ways] and poor handling of their disputes... by "suing one another" in the courts of men, before unbelievers, over matters that Paul regarded as "frivolous lawsuits"... when measured by the grand scheme of God's plan.

What Paul says about this is recorded in the Bible... and is therefore what Jesus says about [among other things] "suing":

"When you have something against another Christian, why do you file a lawsuit and ask a secular court to decide the matter, instead of taking it to other Christians to decide who is right? Don't you know that someday we Christians are going to Judge the world? And since you are going to Judge the world, can't you decide these little things among yourselves? Don't you realize that we Christians will Judge angels? So you should surely be able to resolve ordinary disagreements here on earth.

"If you have legal disputes about such matters, why do you go to outside Judges who are not respected by the church? I am saying this to SHAME YOU. Isn't there anyone in all the church who is wise enough to decide these arguments? But instead, one Christian sues another - RIGHT IN FRONT OF UNBELIEVERS! To have such lawsuits AT ALL is A REAL DEFEAT FOR YOU. Why not just accept the injustice and leave it at that? Why not let yourselves be cheated?

"But instead, you yourselves are the ones who are doing wrong and cheat even your own Christian brothers and sisters. Don't you know that those who do wrong will have no share in the Kingdom of God? Don't fool yourselves...

"There was a time when some of you were just like that, but now your sins have been washed away, and you have been set apart for God [sanctified]. You have been made Right with God because of what the LORD Jesus Christ and the Spirit of our God have done for you..." (I Cor.6:1-11 NLTNew Living Translation).

Jesus Christ is unconcerned about the lawsuits of unbelievers. Let them be, to conduct their lives as they see fit. God is concerned about His people... commanding them to COME TO HIM for Judgment through His Word and in His Spirit.

Judgment is coming upon all the world... and those whom God is calling out of the world, now, are to BE THE JUDGES, RULERS, KINGS and PRIESTS over the nations. God's elect should be concerned about preparing themselves for that Day.

"Let the one who is doing wrong continue to do wrong; the one who is vile, continue to be vile; the one who is good, continue to do good; and the one who is holy, continue in holiness. See, I AM coming soon, and My Reward is with Me, to repay all according to their deeds." (Rev.22:11-12 NLT)

So, about "suing"... and every other matter regarding the servants of God and their relationship with Him; Jesus says: "Take My yoke upon you. LET ME TEACH YOU, because I AM Humble and Gentle, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke fits perfectly, and the burden I give you is light." (Matt.11:29-30 NLT)
