They make out in bed
But really: The Bible doesn't say anything about Humanism. This philosophy was invented after The Bible was completed and the canon was closed. There is a lot in the Bible, however, about the attitude of Humanism. From the very beginning, humans have entertained themselves with the notion that they are the measure of all things: the mind is the determiner of Truth, the sense of justice is spelled out in elevating the downtrodden and treading down the elevated, that "I am the master of my fate and the captian of my soul." This is humanism. And the Bible says we had better hope not! Because if that is true, then we don't stand a chance in this world.
In truth, only God is able to look at the heart, which makes Him alone perfectly just and perfectly merciful. Humans can only look at outward appearances and judge on what may or may not be the truth of the matter. Someone may do the right thing for the wrong reasons, and another may do the wrong thing for the right reasons. Only God can judge what that person was trying to accomplish.
Humanism wants to enjoy the benefits of Christian faith without making the commitment to Christ that is necessary to have those benefits. That's been the story of fallen humanity from the very beginning.
It doesn't, humanism is people relying on themselves or believing in humanity, and Luther translated the bible so that the average person would have access to it, so they could learn from God's word.
Burger King's motto is: "Have it your way" The Bible is not Burger King. It is replete with laws and responsibilities. If your inference relates to what you personally want the Bible to say, there is no reference. Yet there are cults-- Agnosticism, Atheism, Evolutionism, Humanism, Materialism, and Secularism that may satisfy your desire for autonomy. Bottom-line-- The purpose of the Bible is to reveal the whole counsel of God to man, both what we are to believe concerning God and what God requires of us.
yes it say in the bible to be always charitable in the bible always read your bible and prayers
Not that I'm aware of. But there is a place in the Bible that says, You are a lier if you say you have not sinned.
The Bible does not say the devil is handsome.
It does not say this in the bible.
No, the Bible does not say this.
Nowhere in the Bible does it say you will not be loved. The whole Bible talks about how much you are loved.
The Bible does not say anything about Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving was started by the Pilgrims/Indians, which was after the Bible was written.
The bible does not say anything about dreaming for Jesus.
It simply does not say this in the Bible.
It does not say this in the bible.
