She went to Israel (Canaan) with Abraham in 1737 BCE.
Abraham and Sarah were still married at the time of Sarah's death. Sarah did have her own tent. It seems to have been a custom for people of wealth like Abraham and Sarah to have their own tents. We see also Jacob and his two wives Rachel and Leah) having separate tents.
The handmaid's name was Hagar. She was Sarah's servant, and Abraham had a child with her named Ishmael in order to fulfill God's promise of descendants.
He went to uni a year early.
He spread his teachings about the One God. This is the meaning of his "calling out in the name of the Lord" (Genesis ch.12). Soon after, a famine occurred and he went to Egypt for several months (ibid). See also:Abraham's biography
Sarah and Abraham's son was named Isaac. He was born to them in their old age, fulfilling God's promise to give them a child despite their advanced years. Isaac went on to become an important figure in the Abrahamic religions.
Abraham lied about the relationship of himself and his wife Sarah, telling the kings of Egypt and of Gerar that she was his sister.Abraham also went along with Sarah's lack of trust in God's promise of a son when he fathered Ishmael through Hagar, Sarah's handmaiden.Answer 2Abraham had no failures. He called Sarah his sister in order to save his life (Genesis ch.12 and ch.20) as stated explicitly in the text. Surely that is no sin.He took Hagar in order to bear a son, because God had promised that he would have children (Genesis 12, 13 and 15), but had never said that Sarah would have a child. God promised Sarah a son only years after Hagar had had Ishmael (Genesis 16-17).
After a lot of bad things happening to Sarah, she hid a peice of glass behind her back to protect herself. Then the lights went out and when they came back on her throat was slashed.
Both saved and unsaved went to the underworld, but the saved rested in Abraham's bosom.
if you went to google and looked it up and nothing happened then i dont knoew what to tell u ( try asking her ) ;)
because god told abraham to go to egypt Answer: The descendants of Abraham was Jacob and his 12 son's and their wives etc. Seventy people in all. There was famine in the land of Canaan and by this time Joseph had made himself known to all his brothers and sent a message to Jacob his father to bring all the family to Egypt to live as there was plenty of food for humans and animals.
Abraham and Sarah were the first monotheists, and then their grandson, Jacob, was renamed Israel, had twelve sons who went to Egypt due to a famine, their descendants were enslaved and led out by Moses a few hundred years later, and then Judaism "started" when everyone was in the desert and entered the covenant at Mt. Sinai (at the time of the ten commandments).
