What is Islam monotheism?

Monotheism is the belief in one God, and one God only.

In Islam, this God is Allah.

Addition:112:1-4

Say: He is Allah, the One and Only;

Allah, the Eternal, Absolute;

He begetteth not, nor is He begotten;

And there is none like unto Him.

Allah - there is no god except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of all existence. Neither sleepiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is before them and what is behind them, and they encompass not a thing of His knowledge except for what He wills. His Kursi (throne) extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation tires Him not. And He is the Most High, the Most Great.

What she means to say is that Allah means god in arabic.

Not Allah is our god. That would mean that she is saying god is our god.

Almighty God (Allah in Arabic) is the Sole Creator, Sustainer, Protector, Provider, and Ruler of all the worlds He has created. He has no wife, no off-spring, no Partner. All Power lies in Him. He can do whatever He likes. He is free from all want and weakness. NO ONE, NOT EVEN ANY PROPHET has any say in His Rule against His wish or without His permission. He is All-Seeing, All-Knowing. HE and HE and HE alone deserves worship. He is the Master of the Day of Judgment. Every thing in the earth and the heavens belongs to Him. He is the Most Merciful, Most Gracious, Most beneficent, Oft-Returning, Oft-Forgiving. No one can truly and masterfully count and describe His Attributes. Nothing is like Him.

The basic belief of the Muslims is that Almighty Allah (God) is the Sole Creator, Sustainer, Provider and Ruler of all the worlds. He and Only He deserves worship. He has No Parents, nor does He has any son or daughter. He has No Partner in His Authority or worship. The Muslims worship Him, beg from Him, expect from Him, fear only Him, and NO ONE Else.
