According to the Hanafi Madhhab, makruh tanzihi are those things or acts which are discouraged. There is reward for leaving them, but no punishment for engaging in them.
In the name of Allah, the most Beneficent, the most Merciful. = Answer = Imam Abu Hanifa (RA) is of the opinion that consuming horse meat is Makruh Tanzihi due to its honour and due to the fact that a horse is needed in wars and battles. Imam Abu Yusuf (RA) and Imam Muhammad (RA) consider it to be halal and it is said that Imam Abu Hanifa (RA) retreated to this opinion. Therefore it will be permissible to consume, although best to avoid. (Hidayah p.441 v.4) Only Allah Knows Best
Examples of makruh (discouraged) actions could include excessive laughter during prayer or wearing revealing clothing. Examples of mubah (permissible) actions could include eating a variety of foods or wearing different colors of clothing.
In Islamic jurisprudence, "makruh" refers to actions that are discouraged but not sinful. When it comes to prawns, scholars have differing opinions. Some consider prawns permissible (halal) to eat, while others classify them as makruh due to specific interpretations of dietary laws. Ultimately, the permissibility can depend on the school of thought one follows within Islamic tradition.
Broadly, Islam has five categories of Do's and Don'ts: (i) 'Fard' i.e. compulsory or obligatory (ii) 'Mustahab' i.e. recommended or encouraged (iii) 'Mubah' i.e. permissible or allowed (iv) 'Makruh' i.e. not recommended or discouraged (v) 'Haraam' i.e. prohibited or forbidden
The muqtadis should stand close to each other and in a straight row. No space should be left in between. Children should stand in the back row. It is makruh to include children in the men's row. If the Imam's salaah become Fasid (void) then the muqtadis salaah will also become fasid. It will be necessary for the muqtadis to repeat the salaah.
Rules for Imam1. The person who knows the masa'il (rules) of salaah well, provided he is not a fasiq (an open sinner).2. Then a person who can recite the holy Qur'an well.3. Thereafter a person who is pious.4. Then the oldest person.5. Then the good-mannered and kind. However, if there is a fixed Imam in a musjid, then he will still deserve the honour to be the Imam.Note: It is makruh to make as Imam, a fasiq, an ignorant person or one who indulges in bid'at (innovation) or one who is not very careful in observing the rules of shari'ah.
In the name of Allah, the most Beneficent, the most Merciful. Answer Scholars all over the world differ on the ruling of smoking. Arab scholars are of the view that smoking is Haraam as it is a slow method of suicide and commiting suicide is haraam in Islam. Furthermore, it creates bad smell and is a waste of money. Allah (SWA) in the Holy Qur'an has said; "And do not put yourselves into destruction." (Surah Al Baqarah V.195) "And do not squander recklessly. Surely, squanderers are brothers to Shaitan, and the Shaitan is very ungrateful to his lord. (Surah Bani Israaeel V.27) Scholars from the Indian Sub Continent are of the view that smoking is Makruh Tahrimi as there is not enough strength in the above reasons to say it is Haraam. Makruh Tahrimi is a disliked act very close to Haram. However, this does not mean that this view encourages smoking. Makruh Tahrimi should be avoided and if a person does a Makruh Tahrimi act he should repent and ask forgiveness from Allah (SWA) Only Allah Knows Best
It can only occur between a male and a female who are married to each other. Any form of pleasuring one another is allowed except anal penetration (man sticks his penis into the woman's anus). The other thing which is forbidden is for them to have sexual intercourse while the woman is menstruating (on her period). It is makruh (disliked) for a man to withdraw his penis from the female - she is also entitled to pleasure. And that's it. In Islam, sex, like everything has it's time and place. It is a private thing that takes place between a man and his wife and it is a natural thing so it is no problem asking an imam or a sheikh about what is forbidden and what is allowed.
1. If a fasting person forgetfully eats, drinks or has sexual intercourse, the fast will not break. If he eats and drinks a full-stomach, even then the fast will not break. If he forgetfully eats or drinks several times in the day, the fast will still not break. 2. A person slept away during the day. He saw a dream which made ghusl compulsory on him. (i.e. he had a wet-dream) In such a case, the fast does not break. 3. During the day, it is permissible to apply surmah (antimony), oil, and to inhale any fragrance. The fast is not affected by such acts irrespective of when this is done. In fact, after applying surmah, if the colour of the surmah appears in one's saliva or mucus in the nose, even then the fast will not break nor will it become makruh. 4. It is permissible for a man to sleep next to his wife, to touch her and to kiss her. However, if, due to the passions of youth, there is the fear that these acts would lead to sexual intercourse, they should be abstained from. It will then be makruh to carry out such acts. 5. A fly went down the throat, or some smoke or dust went down the throat on it's own. In such a case, the fast will not break. However, if one did this intentionally, the fast will break. 6. A fibre of meat or fragments of betel-leaf, etc. was stuck in the teeth. Due to cleansing the teeth, this fibre released itself from in between the teeth and the person ate it. However, he did not remove it from his mouth. It went down his throat on its own. If this fibre is less than the size of a gram-seed, the fast will not break. (If it is bigger in size, or if the fragment was removed from mouth and then swallowed, see point #2 under Acts Which Break The Fast). 7. By swallowing one's saliva, the fast does not break irrespective of the amount swallowed. 8. After eating some betel-leaves, the person washed and gargled his mouth thoroughly. Despite this, the redness of the saliva did not disappear. There is no harm in this. The fast will still be valid. 9. Ghusl became compulsory at night. However, the person did not have a bath and only took a bath during the day. The fast will be valid. In fact, even if he does not bath the entire day, the fast will still be valid. However, he will still be sinning for not bathing. 10. A person sniffed in such a way that the mucus of his nose went down his throat. His fast will not break. Similarly, the fast does not break by sniffing and swallowing the saliva that is in the mouth. 11. A person vomitted unintentionally. The fast will not break irrespective of the amount. If he vomitted intentionally, his fast will still not break if the vomit was less than a full-mouth. But if it is less than a mouth full, the fast will not break. (If the vomit was a mouthful then see point #5 under Acts Whick Break The Fast). 12. A small amount of vomit came out but it returned down the throat on its own. The fast will not break. (If swallowed intentionally see point #6 under Acts Which Break The Fast). 13. If a person puts water in his ears, the fast will not break. 14. Because of some reason, the doctor inserts his finger into the vagina, or, the woman inserts her own finger. Thereafter, he or she removes part of the finger or the entire finger and then does not re-insert the finger. The fast will not break but kaffarah will not be wajib. (If the figer was wet or moist before inserting it the first time see point #12 under Acts Which Break The Fast). 15. Blood comes out from the mouth. It is then swallowed together with saliva but the quantity of it was less than of the saliva and its taste was not felt when it goes down the throat. The fast will not break. (For conditions where the blood was more than the saliva see point #13 under Acts Which Break The Fast). 16. If a person tastes something with his mouth and thereafter spits it out, the fast will not break. However, it is makruh to do so unnecessarily. But if one's husband is very hot-tempered and there is the fear that if the salt or water content in the gravy is not in order, he will become extremely angry, it will be permissible to taste and will no longer be makruh. 17. It is makruh to soften any food with one's mouth and feed it to a child. However, if this becomes necessary and there is no alternative, it will not be makruh. 18. Injections do not invalidate the fast (Kifayatul Mufti Vol. 4 pg 253). This includes injections through which nourishment is administered into the body (Fatawa Rahimiyyah Vol.3 pg 139). 19. Oxygen via oxygen masks do not invalidate the fast provided if nothing but air is being delivered without any other particles. (Fatawa Usmani Vol.2 pg 180) 20. Backbiting although haram and a grave sin does not invalidate the fast. (Fatawa Rahimiyyah Vol.3 pg
