Catholic AnswerThe only Virginia that I can come up with is Saint Virginia Centurione Bracelli, her memorial is on 15 December. A wonderful woman, an outstanding example to all of us. Read her story at the Patron Saints Index. She cared for the needy, started two religious orders to care, not just for the needy, but healing the sick, educating children, training adults, and helping the dissolute return to productive lives. She also worked for general spiritual development throughout the entire region in the republic of Genoa where she lived, was instrumental in the establishment of Forty Hours' Devotion and the revival of home missions.

As she was just canonized in 2003, she does not have an official designation as of yet.
