There is no physical description other than Isaiah 53:2 (the whole chapter, written about 700 years BC prophesied about Jesus)
Answer:
There are two descriptions of Jesus... ONE in the Old Testament [mentioned above] as He appeared in the flesh; an ordinary non-descript man... a face lost in a crowd, as He became on a number of occasions:
"...they [the church-going folks in Nazareth]... rose up, and thrust Him out of the city... unto the brow of the hill whereon their city was built, that they might cast Him down headlong. But He passing through the midst of them went His way." (Luke 4:28-30)
"...they picked up stones to stone Him, but Jesus hid Himself, slipping away from the Temple grounds." (John 8:59 NIV)
And the SECOND one is found in Revelation as He appears, today:
"...dressed in a robe reaching down to His feet and with a golden sash around His chest. His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and His eyes were like a blazing fire. His feet were like bronze glowing in a furnace, and His voice was like the sound of rushing waters... out of His mouth came a sharp double-edged Sword. His face was like the sun shining in all its brilliance." (Rev.1:13-16 NIV)
One can portray Christ by our Christ like actions. We cannot portray him in looks as there is no description of him in scripture that can be authenticted. As stated it is by our Christ like actions can we portray him.
The teachings of Jesus ARE Christ's message because he was Jesus Christ. Christ and Jesus are the same person.
That is a wonderful question, but the Bible does not use much punctuation, so in reality, speaking of the grammar, it is suppose to be written Jesus, Christ. not Jesus Christ. As many references in the KJV of the Bible, is Christ Jesus, written correctly Christ, Jesus, or Jesus, Christ. It is referring to Christ.
Jesus Christ
The Bible does not give an exact description of Jesus. Really the only thing it says about his appearance was that He was "not beautiful", meaning that he was an average looking man of the time.
Jesus Christ
I believe you mean Holy Savior which is another name and description of Our Lord Jesus Christ. There is no saint by that name.
There never was a person naned Jesus Christ!! Jesus is his name and Christ is his titel!
A good question, unfortunately as we have no accurate description of Christ, only that which man thinks He may have looked like. Tea leaves give no indication that what one sees is Christ.
If Jesus Christ had not died on the cross or not have been resurrected there would be no Christianity. Jesus Christ is Christianity. Christ ---ianity.
No, Christ means "the annointed one" and so he was known as Jesus, the Christ.
Are you asking about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints or the Church of Jesus Christ? The Church of Jesus Christ is another name for Christianity, and was obviously founded by Jesus Christ. There may of course be individual Christian churches with the name "The Church of Jesus Christ", which were probably started by the pastors or parishoners. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is a Christian denomination, it is founded on the teachings of Jesus Christ but was started by Joseph Smith.
